Chiropractic: gentle & effective.
Chiropractic is a primary healthcare modality that recognises that the human body is a beautiful self-regulating, self healing organism, governed by the nervous system - that is, your brain, spinal cord and nerves. Every single function of the body is governed by the relationship between the nervous system and the cells of the body. This relationship is impacted by physical, biochemical and emotional stresses. A Chiropractor is trained to identify stress in the body, and to help you find ways to restore and optimise function.
The Chiropractic adjustment is the application of a precise force to the body – at the right location, in the correct direction and at an appropriate time – to restore optimal motion, balance, alignment and adaptability to the body. Optimal function, in turn, allows for the full expression of an individual's health potential. There are many ways types of adjustment, from the lightest of touches guided by breath, to the more traditional Chiropractic manual adjustment.
Emma’s approach combines a variety of gentle & effective Chiropractic techniques, tailored to each individual. It is always patient-centred and based on each person’s unique health goals.
Sacro Occipital Technic (SOT) forms the foundation of Emma's Chiropractic adjusting approach and is complimented by other mind/body approaches: Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI); Neuro Emotional Technique (NET); instrument/Activator adjusting; as well as a solid understanding of nutritional medicine.

Her philosophy is simple: health is an inside job. The way we move, how we breathe, what we eat, our thoughts & emotions, all play a role in our wellbeing. The nervous system is the master controller for all of these vital functions, so it makes sense to optimise nervous system function.
Emma approaches each individual's health with an intense curiosity for what is possible.
Emma attained a Masters of Chiropractic degree from Macquarie University in 2010, after five years of intensive study. Since then she has been in practice and developing further expertise, including advanced certification in Sacro Occipital Technic (SOT) – A technique she now teaches to other chiropractors.
